Sam Fanshawe is awarded the Rachel Carson Prize 2013

(30.05.2013) Sam Fanshawe, leader of the Marine Conservation Society (MCS), a charity based in Great Britain will receive the Rachel Carson Prize 2013 during a ceremony in Stavanger Sunday 2. June.

Time: Sunday 2. June 15.00 - 17.00

Location: Rosenkildehuset, Stavanger (Ankertorget)

The prize winner is in Stavanger and Oslo from Saturday 1. June to Tuesday 5. June.

She will amongst others participate on the "People's breakfast" in Kongsgård schoolyard on Saturday as a part of the celebration of the World Environment Day. After the prize ceremony on Sunday there will be a prize dinner Sunday evening with invited guests.

Monday and Tuesday she has professional programme that includes a visit/speech at IRIS Environment at Mekjarvik, visit to the Centre of Aquaculture Competence AS on Hjelmeland and meetings with the Ministry of Environment and the Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature in Oslo.
